Our story

A Scottish woman got tired of being ignored.

I am Maryam. A Scottish woman of West African Hausa heritage, living in Glasgow.

For years I experienced extreme fatigue, skin changes and hormonal imbalances. I did what any data analyst would do. I researched.

What I found shocked me. Every single supplement brand in the UK was formulated for white women. Not adapted for us. Built from the ground up for a biology that was not ours.

The science was clear. Women of colour are statistically more likely to be deficient in Vitamin D, Iron and B12. Vitamin D absorption is affected by melanin levels. Nutritional needs vary across different communities. The science existed. The product did not.

So I built it.
